EVERY LEVEL IS POSSIBLE BTW ;)

But you can skip levels in the bottom left corner of the screen.

Colorblind Mode allows you to pick your own colors, you need to enter the hex value for the color - if you need a free tool use https://color.adobe.com/create/color-wheel

This is DYE HARD a bullet hell puzzle game. When I started making the project I was inspired by the idea of using color to solve puzzles. But because the theme was Foddian games I threw in some hell. The graphics are inspired by an old flash game called the worlds hardest game.

I use jams to try something new so I tried implementing a backend for a leaderboard and puzzle style level design. I learned a lot and am looking forward to your feedback. I loved making this and will 100% do a post jam build.

Leaderboard: The name you enter at the start will be your name in the leaderboard, you can update your name by refreshing the page if you want to change it. The name seems to not show up if it is under 4 characters long, if you get a bug where your name doesnt show up in the leaderboard refresh the page and try a different name. The name will update in the leaderboard as well.

Cool game, simple to understand mechanic. Was a bit too hard for my patience tho. Well done.

This was frustratingly fun. Good work!

Thank you so much the theme of the jam was Foddian(frustrating) games so I am glad this fit the bill. Are there any levels or sections you enjoyed more then others? Looking for feedback for a post jam build :D

It's hard to say specifics. I tended to like the levels that combined the switching of colors with movement. While frustrating it was rewarding to master. So levels that had colored rectangles push you if you weren't the right color. And you had to balance that with movement and switching colors. Best example might be level 7. Well the not "shortcut" part of the level. My least favorite ones were when you would prevent color changing and instead force me to rely entirely on avoiding obstacles. I very much enjoyed the concept of learning when and where to change colors and lost some interest when forced to stay a color and just learn the patterns. Hope that helps!
