The music is destroying any chance at a quick run for me, because every time I unlock the exit, I just want to stay and listen to that happy little track for an unreasonably long time! xD Well written! As a composer myself, I love it!

OMG this is so sweet! I am gonna tell my brother Calamilio, he made the music. He is gonna make a full soundtrack for the final game that we are planning on making.

My man here is not alone. I left the game playing for over and hour while I cooked dinner, so I could listen to the tunes. I'd buy it!

Huge congratulations on your game project! The mechanics are so creative, and the theme is absolutely captivating. Can't wait to see more of your work!

Aamzing! Great game. Great puzzles! ....and props to your grandma :D

This is really coool

Fun game, and great mechanics, loved turning into liquid/solid feature.

Seeing the player character go from liquid to solid and back for the first time was a really, really cool moment. Unique puzzle platformer with a fun theme - great work!

It's probably an unintentional side effect, but the environment of the game reminded me of Cardboard Cowboy pipes, and it added an extra element of threat to the game XD.

In all seriousness though, neat game. Took me a while to figure out the momentum and timing of controls, but once I did, I started to become one with the liquid. Seeing the virus sizzle away on the firewall was satisfying. I would've loved a sound effect for the sizzle to maximize the satisfaction.

Level design was well thought out, tough, but satisfying when completed. I love that the level design is thought out to the point that you can collapse your virus burn a picture without meaning to, but the ramps lead a lil bead of your body over. Really adds to the fast pace intention of the puzzle platforming.

For some weird reason the music immediately triggered me to think of a sped up version of the song Mr. Brightside by the Killers in my head. I'm not sure why, and the lyrics don't really fit the song, but yet somehow it does. I suppose it's appropriate it did, given that Windows XP was released 2 years prior to that Killer's song.

Main things that would've helped me be less frustrated in my first playthrough would be:

1. A dedicated grab button for the lil red dot.
2. A different colored dot that I could use as reference to see if my momentum was enough to make it through the grate, or get my virus to be stable on a singular block.

Overall, stellar job everyone. Had no idea y'all were working on a game.

great little game concept, good puzzles. However due to an old injury in my left hand having to use the left shift was hard for me to use. would like more accessibility

Thanks for the feedback, the second the game jam voting is over and I can post an update to the game I will. And I will be sure to include key rebinding! As well as some other suggestions people have made :)

Very satisfying to see the the virus when it's spreading, great idea. Player control could be improved.

The introduction is hilarious, the gandma stuff make the game really compelling.

Really nice, good job!

Fun game love the concept. ummm..... how do collect k thanks.

Very interesting game! The concept is super unique, and I have no idea how you made that work. I felt that the character's movement when solid could be improved by making it a bit more responsive. Otherwise, I enjoyed playing through all the levels, and I just love how the main menu looks too. Really good stuff overall!

This is great feedback, so it is a bit hacky but I am actually using a custom coded magnet like system. Increasing the magnet strength made the platforming feel more responsive but visually the molecules looked a bit twitchy. I will play around with settings for post jam to see if I can find a better balance.

Really cool mechanic with the viscous liquid, I like how you can carry the keys within the virus itself, not just push them around and the soundtrack really sets up the mood, but damn, poor grandma…

Love the concept! Great sense of humor. I've never seen a solid state/liquid state game mechanic in a platformer before. It is certainly innovative, but also frustrating. Because the transitions take a couple seconds, it can initially be hard to tell if you're transitioning to or from a state. In the liquid state, it's also hard to tell where the center is.

I don't play a lot of games on Itch, but the title of yours was certainly attention-grabbing!

Thanks so much for the feedback! I actually made this game because I had never seen a liquid platformer before and after coding this game I know why. It was a pain in the butt to get the game working at all haha. But thanks for this feedback because I want to see if I can improv the feel of the game, adding a center of character might me necessary for the sanity of the player I am thinking. Will play with this in my next game update.

what a great concept, and very nice implementation for such a short jam duration!  The level design is really interesting, showing lots of interesting combinations of the mechanics.  I didn't finish though, kept dying on what I can only hope was the last level :)

It was the last level haha, I made that one a bit too hard I think. But glad you enjoyed the concept and implementation! I had a lot of fun designing the levels.
